Calling in GHL with Twilio

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Overview

Since Twilio doesn't support the Verified Caller ID functionality, Sendblue can't mask the calling number and replace it with the Sendblue number. For customers on one line using GHL and Twilio, please read the following options and let the team know how you'd like to proceed in your designated Slack channel.

  1. You can continue to use a different number for calling from GHL, which we typically don't recommend.

  2. You can switch from Twilio to Lead Connector as your calling provider and buy a number for us to mask. These numbers are typically a dollar.

  3. Use the SB Chrome Extension which is a bit less native meaning you wouldn't be able to call via mobile. This would be a pop-up that runs on top of GHL.

  4. We're currently running a pilot partnership for branded calling where your company name would show up automatically for outbound calls. In this option, you can still use your Twilio number for calling. As mentioned, it's a newer feature we're rolling out and will eventually start charging for it, but we can let you in for free as a part of the pilot.
