Customer-Facing Guide
Overview
Forwarding numbers control where inbound calls are routed. Depending on your setup, you may have a default forwarding number and individual forwarding numbers for specific users.
How it works
The default forwarding number acts as the fallback destination.
Users can have their own forwarding number depending on the account configuration.
If a user-specific forwarding number is not set, the default forwarding number is generally used.
Typical setup flow
Go to the Sendblue dashboard.
Open Settings and navigate to the account or calling area where forwarding is managed.
Set the default forwarding number.
If needed, configure per-user forwarding numbers in Team Management.
Troubleshooting
If calls are routing to the wrong place, check whether a user-specific forwarding number is overriding the default.
If calls are not routing at all, confirm the number was entered correctly and saved to the right place.
If the issue looks line-specific rather than configuration-specific, support may need to inspect the line state.
