Customer-Facing Guide
What this action does
Send Group iMessage sends a group iMessage from a workflow action instead of a normal 1:1 message step.
When to use it
When a workflow should create a group conversation instead of messaging a single recipient
When you want a lead plus one or more team members in the same thread
When the workflow should send the first group message automatically
What to make sure is true first
Every team member email in the group is connected to the Sendblue account.
The lead phone number is valid and formatted correctly.
The sender is the correct Sendblue user for the group conversation.
If you are passing multiple numbers, they are separated correctly and do not include stray spaces if the action requires comma-separated formatting.
Common mistakes
Using team member emails that are not actually connected to Sendblue.
Formatting the phone-number list incorrectly.
Using the wrong sender or sender email.
Treating a group action like a normal 1:1 message step and forgetting the extra participant requirements.
How to verify it worked
Check that the group thread was actually created.
Confirm the participants in the thread are the expected ones.
Confirm the first group message appears in the thread and from the expected sender.
