Customer-Facing Guide

Short answer

Call quality in Sendblue should feel close to a normal phone call in healthy conditions, but it can still vary depending on network conditions, the line path, forwarding setup, and the recipient side.

What usually affects call quality

  • The network quality on both sides of the call

  • Whether the call is being forwarded

  • The specific line and its current health

  • The recipient device or carrier/network conditions

What good quality usually looks like

  • Clear enough for a normal sales or support conversation

  • No constant clipping, robotic audio, or persistent one-way audio

  • No repeatable issue across every call on the same line

When to troubleshoot

  • Calls consistently sound poor on the same line.

  • Only forwarded calls have the issue.

  • Calls drop, clip, or route strangely in a repeatable pattern.

What to gather before contacting support

  • The affected line

  • Whether the issue happens on all calls or only some calls

  • Whether forwarding was enabled

  • A recent example call and approximate timestamp

  • Whether the issue happens only for one recipient/device/network
