How to Block a Lead in SendBlue
If you need to prevent a lead from messaging or calling you—and also stop yourself from messaging or calling them—you can block the lead directly from your SendBlue inbox. This can be done from either the SendBlue dashboard or the extension inside your CRM.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Open Your Inbox
Access your inbox from the SendBlue dashboard or through the SendBlue extension inside your CRM.
2. Select the Contact
Click on the contact you want to block from the inbox.
At the top of the conversation, look to the right-hand side of the screen.
3. Block the Lead
Open the dropdown menu.
Select Block Lead.
What Happens After Blocking a Lead
A confirmation message will appear at the top of the conversation indicating that the lead has been blocked.
Once blocked:
Messages will not be sent or received from this number.
Calls will not be sent or received from this number.
The blocked status will remain active unless the lead is manually unblocked.
Final Notes
After a lead is blocked, you will no longer receive any messages or calls from them, and they will no longer be able to contact you through SendBlue.
