Customer-Facing Guide

Short answer

For Zapier and HubSpot, the Media URL should be a direct URL to the actual media file you want Sendblue to use.

What counts as a good Media URL

  • A direct image, video, PDF, or file URL that the system can fetch.

  • A hosted asset URL from the source system or file-hosting service.

  • A voice-memo URL in a supported audio format such as mp3, m4a, or wav when you are sending a voice memo.

What usually does not work well

  • A generic page URL instead of the actual file URL.

  • A share page that requires extra clicks or authentication instead of a direct asset link.

  • An empty field or unsupported file type.

Accepted media guidance

  • Media URL can point to videos, images, PDFs, and similar supported assets.

  • Voice Memo URL should point to a supported audio file such as mp3, m4a, or wav.

How to verify it worked

  • Test with a known working direct file URL first.

  • If the workflow fails, inspect whether the URL points to the file itself or just a page about the file.

  • If media is optional, confirm the field is not blank for the contacts using that step.
